Frequently Asked

Questions.

How many students are in a group?

Classes typically have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 students to ensure engagement and personalised support.

How are topics chosen to teach each week?

There are six topic areas that are assessed in the GCSE exam. Number, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Geometry, Probability and Statistics. A topic is chosen from a different topic area each week, this way the whole syllabus is covered.

For A Level, classes will focus on a combination of Pure Mathematics as well as Applied (Mechanic and Statistics).

What if a student can't attend a lesson?

All classes are automatically uploaded to Microsoft OneNote. This is a digital notebook which automatically syncs and saves the notes at the class is being presented. These notes are shared with the students, allowing them to go over any questions we cover in the class outside of lessons.

So, if a student cannot attend a class, they can access the notes for that class and catch up.

How often is payment taken?

Payment is automated and taken every 4 weeks via the website. You can manage your subscription in your account settings.

Is homework set after the classes?

Yes, students are given additional questions to try independently, with fully worked solutions available in the Online Notes section.

Do students have to turn their cameras on?

No, students are not required to turn their cameras on, but they are encouraged to engage in discussions and participate.

How do you ensure students are actively engaging with the classes?

Lessons are interactive, with live problem-solving, quizzes, and discussion points. Regular progress checks and assessments also help keep students motivated.

Can I cancel at any time?
